That's hilarious! Do you use Twitter at all in your translation career? You need to re-request me because I deleted you because I was like "Who the heck is that?!"

The deed is done.

So far, I have not used it so much for translation.

I first created a Twitter account because of an artist Web site called DeviantArt (dA), where I could use it to tell fellow artists of updates. And then I stopped using it. I resurrected it when I won the "Queen of the Zombies" title, because someone with a private account wanted to show me something. Ever since, I've used it as a major information source (news, movies, grammar, etc.). Right now, I have trouble seeing it any other way.

I find that the character limit, while providing for interesting stylistic constraints, does not allow for much socializing. I am following a few translation-related feeds, some of them job postings, though.

We should try to find something! When you joined Twitter, in what way dd you imagine that it would help your career? Nothing says we can't make it happen...
