  • How does this tool compare with other electronic bilingual dictionaries?
  • What kinds of tasks do you think Linguee performs, to be able to produce the results you have seen? Why?
  • What could Linguee help you to do? In what kinds of situations?
  • Do you think Linguee might be particularly useful for certain subject fields? If so, which one(s)? If not, why not?
  • Do you think Linguee might be particularly useful for certain text types (e.g. technical documents, scientific articles, popularized articles, training documents, administrative correspondence, advertising, etc.)? If so, which one(s), and why? If not, why not? Are there any text types you do not think it would help with? Why or why not?
  • What criteria can be used to evaluate bilingual concordancers such as Linguee?
  • What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of using Linguee, or other concordancers, to search for occurrences of search strings and their equivalents, as compared to searching in (only) monolingual and bilingual dictionaries?
  • What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of using Linguee to search for occurrences of search strings and their equivalents, as compared to using a manual approach? Or as compared to using another tool?
  • Do you think the Editorial Dictionary is a good complement to Linguee's bilingual concordancer? Why or why not?
  • Do you think the user involvement affects the reliability of the equivalents?
  • What did you like most about Linguee?
  • Was there anything you did not like about Linguee?
  • How do you think Linguee could be modified, expanded, or improved so that it would be even more useful to you?
